COBYS Family Services facilitates two kinds of adoption: State-subsidized adoption of foster children through the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN) and adoption of infants who are not part of the foster care system. Counseling for Those Facing Unplanned Pregnancy

COBYS also provides free, confidential birth parent counseling to help those facing unplanned pregnancies decide what is best for them and their unborn child. For birth parents who decide that adoption is the best course, COBYS offers these approved families who are ready to provide a loving home for an infant. For those who decide parenting is the best option, we help identify and develop a network of people and resources to provide support. COBYS also serves as a resource for pastors and other professionals as they assist individuals and families facing an unplanned pregnancy.
